American hip-hop artist of Taymor Trevone MacIntyre, acting under the pseudonym Tay-K, was sentenced to 55 years in prison. It is reported by CNN.
19-year-old musician was found guilty of killing a man during an armed attack in 2016, and ordered to pay fines totaling more than 20 thousand dollars. In addition, he was sentenced to 30, 13 and 13 years for three cases of aggravated robbery. All sentences will enter into force at the same time.
Tay-K was one of the seven accused in the murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker. The group was planning to break into the man’s house in Mansfield to steal drugs and money, however, this led to the shootout.
One of the most famous works of the rapper became The Race track, which he wrote after escaping from house arrest. In the video for the song Tay-K dancing, brandishing a gun, calls himself a Rifleman and read the line: “I woke up in a bad mood. Who will die today?”

According to the publication Billboard, during the trial the Prosecutor drew the attention of the jury on the clip of the artist, saying that it was the character of the accused. It is noted that the rapper is a suspect in another murder. Tay-K could face the death penalty if convicted in the case.
