Sneakers Nike Waffle Racing Flat “Moon Shoe” in 1972, was sold at sothebey’s auction in over 437 thousand 500 dollars. This is stated on the official website of the auction house.

So the high price is due to the exclusivity of the couple. There were produced 12 pairs of sneakers. They were intended for races of the Olympic games 1972 in Munich.
