Russian boxer Sergey Kovalev in Instagram account commented on the death of Maxim Dadasheva.
Kovalev felt that the referee should have been much earlier to stop the fight of Russians against Gabriela Mathias. “It’s not the janitor from the street, and who is trained to judge Boxing matches. He had to weigh zero chance to win Dadasheva after the eighth round,” said he.
According to boxer, the first eight rounds, it became clear that Dadashov will not be able to win a duel. “Meaning to continue with this beating? But the referee stopped the fight to save the health and life of max, he continued to participate in the beating of max, to the fun and spectacle to the audience…” — said the athlete.
Dadashov died July 23 at a hospital in the United States. The athlete was hospitalized on July 20 after the defeat of Mathias. The fight was stopped in the 11th round by the initiative of the coach of the Russian. Later, the boxer had surgery, he was put into a medically induced coma.
On a professional ring Dadashov scored 13 victories in a row. The defeat of Matthias was the first in his career.
