Iran is ready to shoot down US drones, again, if they violate its airspace. This statement was made by President of Islamic Republic Hassan Rouhani. His words on Wednesday, 24 July, reports Reuters.

The air force of the Islamic revolutionary guard Corps shot down an unmanned intelligence apparatus of the USA on 20 June. The American side at first denied it but then admitted that Iran shot down a UAV RQ-4A BAMS-D is one of the biggest classified us drone. While Washington claims that it happened over international waters, Iran claims that the aircraft violated the air border.
Relations between the two countries deteriorated after the beginning of may 2018 trump announced the unilateral withdrawal of Washington from a nuclear deal in 2015 and the renewal of the sanctions against Tehran.
Official diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Iran do not exist in 1979 when the Islamic revolution had seized the American Embassy in Tehran and 52 Americans for 444 days held hostage.
