Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Vitaly Mutko said that the flooded districts of the Irkutsk region will be fully recovered by early August, reports “Interfax”.
“We notice, first, the completion of rescue and recovery operations, restore the normal functioning of the settlements that were in the area of flooding, especially of Nizhneudinsk and Tulun. We expect that the full activity of these settlements will be until the first of August restored,” he said.
Mutko added that the compensation received more than 40 thousand podtoplentsam.
Earlier, the Governor of Irkutsk region Sergey Levchenko has promised to restore the damaged levees to fall. The cost of the works official estimated at 1.3 billion rubles. According to him, a lump sum was paid 99 percent of the victims.
