The team of the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko is not surprised by the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to dismiss him from the post of head of Kyiv city state administration (KCSA), but no official notification was not received. On Wednesday, July 24, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“We have not received any official documents: letters, notifications. All that is seen is a screenshot of the letter [of the presidential office Andrei] Bogdan in online media, — said the press Secretary Klitschko Oksana Zinoviev. — In principle, nothing unexpected. They declared such intentions.”
Earlier the government of Ukraine announced that it has received an official appeal Zelensky with a request to consider the dismissal of Klitschko. The decision about the new head of the KSCA is still pending.
23 Jul Klitschko was summoned for questioning on charges of land fraud.
Plans Zelensky to dismiss Klitschko became known on 18 July. His place can be taken by the General Director of holding “1+1 media” Alexander Tkachenko or businessman Andrew Cold.
Klitschko won the Kyiv mayoral elections on may 25, 2014. A month later, then-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko I appointed him the head of the KSCA.
