Meeting of the newly elected Prime Minister, Boris Johnson and President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will be after Brexit. With such statement on air of the Ukrainian “Radio Liberty” made by the Ambassador of Ukraine in great Britain Natalia galibarenko.

So, the Ambassador noted that Kiev “gives the UK time for the implementation of Brexit until 31 October”, but after that date, the Ukrainian diplomats will begin active work on the organization of the bilateral summit. According to her, Kiev will continue to implement policies aimed at the preservation and strengthening of allied relations with London.

Galibarenko also said that the Ukrainian diplomacy constantly have to deal with the “complex of fatigue,” Western politicians from Ukraine. “But we still continue to promote the Ukrainian agenda. We won’t slow down”, she promised.

The Ambassador also noted that Ukraine to Boris Johnson — “not a foreign country”, so Kiev can always count on his support.

Johnson officially took office as the new Prime Minister on 24 July. Queen Elizabeth II commissioned him to form a Cabinet.

July 23, Johnson chose the new head of the Conservative party and consequently Prime Minister. In the race for the post he circumvented the British foreign Secretary Jeremy hunt. After winning, the politician said that he intends to charge the country with energy and to unite it, and to hold a Brexit.
