A court in Kazan sentenced the former officials of the city Executive Committee to two years of probation for the forgery of administrative records concerning the local resident, the press service of the Prosecutor of Tatarstan.
The court found that from April to August 2018 at the time the incumbent chief specialist of the Department of public safety Executive Committee was made up of 27 fictitious reports of a man for alleged violation of order of organization of street trade (article 3.2 of the administrative code). As a result of a person unreasonably fined in the amount of 87 thousand rubles. “In reality man of these offences did not commit, and the official so wanted to show management visibility of their work”, — says the publication.
The defendant was found guilty as regards 1 article 285 of the criminal code (“Abuse of official powers”) and under part 2 of article 292 of the criminal code (“forgery”). At the trial he confessed to the crime.
