The Russian pensioner was beaten and kept in chains, nine foster children

In shchuchanskiy district of Kurgan region 61-year-old pensioner mocked nine foster children. This was reported on the website of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee.

According to investigators, from March 2017 through February 2018, the woman forced the children to perform physically demanding work on the farm, beat them with improvised items, and locked in a shed and was chained by a chain to the bed. In addition, it is ill-fed children and did not buy their clothes according to the season.

The pensioner was found guilty under paragraphs “a, g” of part 2 of article 117, paragraph “d” of part 2 of article 127, paragraphs “d, g” of part 2 of article 127, article 156 of the criminal code (“Torture, committed against a minor, helpless and financially dependent on the perpetrator; illegal deprivation of freedom not connected with his kidnapping committed against a minor; improper performance of parental duties”). She was sentenced to five years imprisonment.

22 July it became known about the abuse of a child from the village Velikovechnoe Krasnodar region. The locals I saw in the store the boy with a padlock on his neck, helped him to escape and was sent to the hospital. As told by the villagers, the boy was in the garden, and at night he was chained up on a chain in the barn and locked.

The child’s father stated that son held in chains, for safety reasons, as he had to take to the hospital pregnant wife. He took in the car the younger son and didn’t know what to do with the older, from his first marriage. The family acknowledged prosperous, and secure.
