The security service of Ukraine (SBU) released a Russian tanker crew NEYMA, which was detained in the port of Izmail of Odessa region, as the seamen did not violate international norms of Maritime law and the laws of Ukraine. This was reported on page SSU in Facebook.
In the SBU said that during investigation found no violations on the part of the crew, as grounds for detention was not. The Ministry stressed that the rights and liberties of the seafarers are not compromised. “Ukraine is a legal state, which faithfully comply with international Maritime law and the decisions of the International Tribunal of the UN,” said the SBU.
On the release of the crew became known earlier on 25 July. With the sailors took the obligation to appear for questioning when summoned by the investigator. They pass on business as witnesses and any restrictions on movement have not.

In Russia under investigation are 24 Ukrainian servicemen (22 sailor and the two SBU officers), who were detained and arrested, along with three ships in the incident in the Kerch Strait in November 2018. They are accused of illegal crossing of the Russian border in an organized group.
