Duma Deputy speaker Sergei Neverov said on the need for legislation to define the scope of payments of multimillion-dollar bonuses to top managers of state-owned companies, reports TASS.
According to him, the theme of the payments to top managers is a key element in the complaints of citizens. The special surge was associated with the “Mail of Russia”, where the user has paid the annual bonus in the amount of 95,4 million rubles, and postal workers receive extremely low wages.
Neverov stressed that there must be “some logic and social justice in all this”, Recalling that the median income in Russia amounted to 30-40 thousand per month.
“There must be still some scope for different types of bonuses in the public corporations. There should be a fair ratio of wages in all sectors of the economy”, — said the Vice-speaker of the state Duma.
Neverov also noted the need to link real bonuses with financial indicators, KPIs, which often does not happen.
Earlier it was reported that the government has developed new criteria for evaluating the work of top managers of state companies. Now they will be directly tied to last year’s execution of the may presidential decree. From performance KPI will depend on the remuneration of senior managers.
