The inhabitant of Ekaterinburg has sentenced to eight months of imprisonment in a colony-settlement for drunk driving, but his were not sent because of lack of available places. It is reported URA.RU.

A man named Igor told the newspaper that for two months awaiting his sentence. FSIN promised to call him when in the colony a place becomes available. “I would hurry to get rid of this, as they say, the sooner we start the sooner we finish,” says the convict.

FSIN even allowed him to go to Turkey on holiday, assuring that after returning from vacation he will go to jail.

The representative of the regional Department of the prison Department Alexander Levchenko has denied the information about the overcrowding of the colonies. “This can not be, we need to understand. We have three colonies-settlements, and there are no problems with places,” said he.
