Former prisoners beaten to death by former police officers

Two residents of the Republic of Udmurtia, previously convicted for criminal offenses, accused of killing his friends, former police officers. This was reported on the website of the Republican Prosecutor’s office.

According to the prosecution, the incident occurred in the night from 5 to 6 February 2019, when four men were drinking alcoholic beverages in the village Mogwai. The defendants are brothers of the slain former law enforcement officers. It is noted that these circumstances caused the conflict.

Former prisoners struck their friends multiple blows to the head and body with hands, feet and poker. One of the victims also was stabbed in the neck. Due to injuries the men died on the spot, their bodies found only a few days.

The attackers fled from the scene and a few days of hiding at home mother. However, they were later detained and taken into custody. They are accused of murder of two persons by a group of persons upon a preliminary collusion. The men face life imprisonment.
