The former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had hindered the implementation of reforms in Ukraine and “stoked” potential competitors from the government. About it on air of radio “New time” told the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.

According to him, to work with Poroshenko “was very difficult” because of all the changes in the law agreed with him that he gave factions signal their approval. “It spent months”, — said Groisman.

As an example, he spoke about the initiative of the government to introduce in Ukraine the English law. According to Gaisma, it would help to attract investors by giving them confidence that their assets they will take. However, the former President opposed this initiative. “He said, “No, this is wrong, we have the Ukrainian judicial system”. I said, “I’m Sorry, what justice system? Who brought it and made a decision?”” — retells the politician.

This Groisman said that he is not the only Prime Minister who had conflicts with the President. According to him, Petro Poroshenko also “stoked” by his predecessor Arseniy Yatsenyuk. “Why? In my opinion as a young competitor. He’s young, he’s smart. As a young competitor at the next presidential elections,” — said Groisman.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk has announced his resignation April 10, 2016. 14 April, Parliament granted the request of the Prime Minister. In his place was appointed Vladimir Groisman, who was then speaker of the Parliament.
