Manufacturers of gasoline in June raised prices by 8.6 percent compared to may, reports TASS with reference to the Rosstat.
While consumer prices on average in the country increased compared to may by only 0.7 percent. Among the regions, where fuel at the pump has risen most strongly, was Tatarstan (+2.5 percent), Tuva (+1.7%) and Novosibirsk region (+1.6 percent).
In General, the increase in prices was recorded in 13 subjects. In four, by contrast, showed a significant reduction, in particular, in Sevastopol — by 1.3 percent, in the Republic of Crimea — by 1.1%.
Since the beginning of the year, retail fuel prices increased by 1.4 percent, while producer prices fell by 4.9 percent.
Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that a serious limitation of growth of prices for motor fuel may lead to dangerous consequences. According to him, such actions can severely hamper the development of the petroleum sector in the country.
