Russian scientists will bring to increasing the efficiency of hydrocarbon production

The authorities of Bashkiria plan to create the region’s scientific-educational center (REC), which will deal with developments in the field of increase of efficiency of extraction and processing of hydrocarbons. This was reported on the official website of the government of the Republic.

As noted, the center will work to establish a digital, intelligent manufacturing technology and robot systems as well as producing new materials. In addition, one of the tasks of the specialists of the REC will be to develop a system of machine learning and artificial intelligence, aimed at improving the efficiency of production, transportation and deep processing of hydrocarbon raw materials.

The new center will be established on the basis of the national Academy of Sciences, Ufa, Federal research center Russian Academy of Sciences and several leading regional universities: the Ufa state oil technical University (UGNTU), Ufa state aviation technical University (USATU) and the Bashkir state University (BSU).

The region claims the creation of RECs in 2020 under the second stage of the Federal program “Development of scientific and scientific-production cooperation” of the national project “Science.” All, according to her, by 2024, the country must receive a minimum of 15 scientific and educational centers of the world level, 14 competence centres of STI, scientific and research centers. For the program it is planned to allocate 215 billion rubles.
