The Ministry said that over the past day in the region fell almost monthly norm of precipitation. Because of this, many homes and houses adjoining areas in Nizhneudinsk and Tulun was again flooded. Also recorded the rise of water on the river Great White in Cheremkhovo Raion (450 centimeters with the critical level of 420 centimeters).
In Irkutskgeologia said that in the near future is expected to increase in water level in other rivers in the region. “Heavy and very heavy rains are expected in Tulunsky, Nizhneudinsk and Zima areas. In connection with this projected increase in water level to critical levels in areas of the rivers Oka, Iya, Oud, White, Biryusa and in small rivers of southern Baikal area”, — said the head of the Azat Nasyrov.
On 24 July Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko said that the flooded districts of the Irkutsk region will be fully recovered by early August. According to him, the compensation received already more than 40 thousand podtoplentsam.
