A bolt of lightning killed 45-year-old Norwegian Sprinter during trailrunning of the race. It is reported by Le Soir.
According to the publication, lightning struck a runner on the height of two thousand meters above sea level. RaiNews said that in that moment the race was already interrupted because of adverse weather conditions, however, the woman was on a remote isolated site. The athlete was alive when rescuers found her, but later died in hospital.
Last week in Italy had a high fever. On July 27, the country began a severe thunderstorm, accompanied by Gale-force winds and hail. Orange level warning was declared in some Northern and Central areas.
