In Smolensk region more than 42 million rubles will be spent over four years for retraining employees threatened with reduction. Writes about this TASS with reference to the press service of the regional government. The money will be allocated in the framework of the national project to improve productivity.
The program will begin in 2021. While local authorities are studying the labor market and find out what categories of employees will require retraining, and selected educational programs and teaching staff.
It is expected that the retraining programme will enable to increase labor productivity by five percent, to avoid cuts, because people will just be able to move to another position.
In total, the national project in the Smolensk region will take part about 50 medium and large enterprises. Their leaders also will be trained on the special programs.
