In the Karelian village of Liposcelis the Olonetsky district administration the main secondary school gathered to improve the energy efficiency of the building 1974 building to save on a payment for its content. The school has 106 children. This was announced by head of the economic part of the school Elena Makeeva, reports TASS.

To improve energy efficiency in the school building will be replaced with Windows and doors, insulated facade and installed a new heating unit. According to Mccavoy, previously, the school had to keep warm with cotton and paper and to heat classrooms, using additional instruments.

“It took a lot of time and resources. Now we are changing Windows, the facade is sheathed with insulation, is the replacement of the doors. To judge the amount of cost reduction we will be when the heating season begins, and we will account for heat,” — said Makeeva.

In the Karelian school being renovated in the framework of the national project “Education”. The institution also received 660 thousand rubles for the installation of new sports equipment on the street. To the project, in particular, included the Federal project “Modern school”, in which the Russian schools will introduce new methods and training programs, while many of the usual formats finally go to the past. So, by 2021, will completely eliminate the third shift, and by the end of 2024 will open the first of 25 schools built with private investment. The total budget of the project amounted to 784,5 billion.
