Sending bodies of the Russian boxer Maxim Dadasheva from USA to St. Petersburg is delayed. About TASS reported in the Federation of Boxing of Russia.
The athlete’s body was transported to the Motherland on Tuesday, July 30, but due to problems with the documents, the matter was postponed to 31 July or 1 August.
Dadashov died July 23 after a bout against the Puerto Rican Zabiela Mathias. Immediately after the fight, the athlete was hospitalized, doctors diagnosed cerebral edema. The Russians had done the surgery, but he survived.
The Secretary General of Federation of Boxing of Russia Umar Kremlev pointed out the violations committed by the organizers of the battle. In particular, he noted that they had not checked the authenticity of medical documents, not organized in first aid in the ring. Wife Dadashova was named one of the culprits in the death of boxer to the referee who did not stop the fight, despite the large number of missing athlete bumps.
