The pace of housing construction in the Yaroslavl region and the first six months of 2019 were up by 10 percent compared to the same period last year. This was reported on the official portal of bodies of state power of the region.
As noted, in total the region was introduced by 379 thousand square meters of housing, of which 136 thousand square metres are for apartment buildings, 242 thousand square meters for individual houses.
“The demand for housing in the region is what allows us to be optimistic on the Outlook for housing construction and to perform the tasks,” — said acting Director of the regional construction Department Viktor Bugs.
He also added that, Danilov, Gavrilov-yamskiy, STS and Nekrasovsky districts of the region have already exceeded the annual commitments for new housing.
In the framework of the national project “Housing and the urban environment”, which consists of four Federal programs (“Housing”, “sustainable reduction in uninhabitable housing”, “mortgage” and “the Formation of a comfortable urban environment”), is intended, in particular, to build 120 million square meters of housing by 2024. The total amount of financing of the national project is calculated till 2024, exceeds one trillion rubles.
