Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that is not going to leave the country and hide. He told about it in interview to “the Ukrainian truth”.

Answering the question about the political prosecution of former Ukrainian leader stressed that “it is nothing to be ashamed of”. “There are no facts that would I had to go through. If it is political justice — I’m still in 2014, on the front no longer afraid,” — said Poroshenko.

According to him, attempt to escape and leave the country would be a great gift for the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The former head of state added that it believes the Russian leader’s main enemy. “In fact my opponent — not [acting President Vladimir] Zelensky”, — he explained.

Earlier in July, it was noted that the main enemies are Zelensky Poroshenko and the head of political Council of party “Oppositional platform For life” Viktor Medvedchuk. According to the analyst, they have a powerful political motivation, vast resources and a reliable rear in the form of the Kremlin.

In March, the former Minister of economy Volodymyr Lanovoy claimed that Poroshenko is preparing to escape from the country after the elections. According to him, the former President will have to answer for the poor state of the army, corruption, violation of election law and state Constitution.
