Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika stated that an unsanctioned rally in Moscow should not be repeated, and called for greater oversight of the upcoming elections in September. It is reported RIA Novosti on Tuesday, July 30.
“Adjust the organization of shifts, notice of the Central office of the Prosecutor General on the current situation and, as has been said, hard to suppress violations, using the whole set of response measures”, — said Chaika.
Earlier it became known that during the uncoordinated action of the opposition in Central Moscow on July 27, suffered at least two members of Regardie. The soldiers received eye burns from the spraying of pepper spray.
According to the interior Ministry, the rally was attended by about 3.5 thousand people, detained more than two hundred participants. The protest was organized by opposition candidates in the Moscow city Duma, which was not recorded because it exceeded the number of invalid signatures. Some indicated in the signature sheets the names of already deceased persons.
