The Union of European football associations (UEFA) has published a list of 50 promising young players who next season can prove themselves. This was reported on the website of the organization.
The list included two Russian players — 21-year-old CSKA Moscow midfielder Ivan Oblakov and 20-the summer goalkeeper “Krasnodar” Matthew Safonov. In addition, in the top 50 are another two representative clubs of the Russian Premier League (RPL) — Croatian midfielder CSKA in Belgrade, Nikola vlašić and the Georgian midfielder of “Rubin” of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Oblakov has passed in CSKA from “Ufa” in 2018. In the season 2018/19 midfielder spent in the army of 40 games, scoring four goals and giving eight assists. Safonov started to play for FC Krasnodar in 2018. The goalkeeper was voted the best young player at the end of the last season of RPL.
In last year’s top UEFA also had two Russian player. Among them was CSKA forward Fyodor Chalov, which became last season’s top scorer RPL, and forward “Krasnodar” Ivan Ignatiev.
