When purchasing tents burned children’s camp found violations

Burned during a fire in the Khabarovsk camp “Kholdomi” tents have been purchased illegally. This was reported on the website of the office of the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) in the Khabarovsk region.

It is noted that the camp had violated the law on protection of competition. The FAS found indications of a conclusion of anticompetitive agreements between the customer and the organizations involved in the auction for the right of conclusion of the contract on the provision of food, accommodation, organization of work and providing the infrastructure of the campground.

The case was brought against the government of Khabarovsk territory, regional state organization “youth House”, the owner of the camp’s “Extreme Service” and LLC “Flagman”. The audit was conducted after the publication on the acquisition of tents for the camp, the statement said.

On 23 July it became clear that the tent had an official certificate of incombustibility, and have been recommended by regional authorities. In the institution there were two types — “Pamir-30” for children and “Pamir-10” for counselors.It was alleged that they made of malagarasi and refractory materials.

A fire in a tent camp occurred on the night of July 23, there were 189 people, burnt down 20 of the 26 tents. As a result of fire killed four children. The basic version of incident — a faulty heater, in which the children dried clothes.

The investigative Committee opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence”) and item “in” parts of 2 articles 238 of the criminal code (“Rendering services not meeting requirements of safety of life and health of consumers”). The head of the tent camp Maxim Kuznetsov and Director of “Extreme Service” Vitaly boatmen are on the case as suspects.
