The majority of Russians (68 percent) expressed a willingness to reduce the time they spend with the family for the sake of career advancement and salary growth. This is evidenced by the results of a study of service “the Salary.ru”, which came to edition”.ru”.
According to him, about six percent of the respondents said that they are ready to abandon the family even without a career growth and high salaries because the work is more important. Family at the forefront put about a quarter of respondents.
Among those who are not willing to devote more time to career than family, there were more women than men — 27 percent versus 24 percent. According to experts, nearly 25 percent of Russians believe that career and family are incompatible, and 61 percent believe that it is a very difficult task. Careerists considers himself a third of respondents. About 14 percent of Russians believe that actively building a career and spending a lot of time with the family is quite real.
