Possible future leader of the party of President Vladimir Zelensky “servant of the people” in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Davyd Arakhamia estimated the number of Pro-Russian deputies, who will receive mandates as representatives of the party. On Wednesday, August 7, reports “Ukrainian truth”.
“Pro-Russian vector is not influential at all. My rating is one, and perhaps two percent. And it’s conventionally Pro-Russian is not the people who say that we should go to Russia, and they conventionally say that it is not so simple, you have to understand,” he said. The politician added that most of these deputies took place in majority districts.
According to arakhamiya, such people in the party will “re-educate”. He himself with them, “no productive relationship”, as their values are in conflict.
Earlier, on August 6, newly elected Verkhovna Rada Deputy from the party “servant of the people” Alexander Dubinsky offered to end the fighting in the Donbass, building a wall on the border of Ukraine and the unrecognized republics. And his fellow party member Bohdan Yaremenko expressed opinion on necessity to introduce criminal responsibility for negotiations with Russia.
Elections to the Ukrainian Parliament took place on 21 July. The total turnout amounted to 49.84 per cent voters. According to the results of processing 100% of ballots the party Zelensky “servant of the people” can form a single-party majority, receiving 254 out of 450 mandates. Of 424 323 elected deputies never went to the Verkhovna Rada. The majority of them are party Zelensky, neither the party list nor the candidates in the majority constituencies were not former or current MPs.
