In Russia, the most common cat of the British and Scottish breed. This is evidenced by the results of the survey Mail.ru, reports TASS.
However, most Russians get cats without breed (55%). Among purebred Pets are the most popular British (11 per cent), Scottish (8 per cent), Maine coons (3%) and Siberian cats (3 per cent).
It is noted that most cats give birth to the inhabitants of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg.
In addition, the researchers found that as nicknames for their cats, the Russians tend to choose Mary, Alice, Mushu, Sonya and ILSA. Males often called Barsik, Kuzma, Bob, Sam and ginger.
Earlier in Russia approved an updated list of potentially dangerous dogs. The list includes 12 breeds of dogs and their mestizo: Akbash, American bandog, amberdog, the Brazilian bulldog, bully Kutta, alapaha blue blood bulldog purebred, bandog, wolf-dog hybrids, volkosob, Gul Dong, and the North Caucasus pitbulmal dog.
