Creation of the Murmansk transport hub provides for the organization of the current year-round deep-sea center for the processing of liquid (oil and petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gas) and dry bulk (coal, fertilizer, iron ore and other concentrates) of cargo, large containers, construction materials supply Arctic fields and industrial centers located along the Northern sea route.
The construction meets the goals of the national project “Comprehensive plan for the modernization and expansion of backbone infrastructure” is designed to 2024.
