In kazanskom district of the Republic of Buryatia freight train rammed a passenger car stuck on the tracks. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to the press service of the regional Moi.
The collision occurred on a section of the railway Slyudyanka-2 — of Ulan-Ude near the station Boyarsky August 11, around 6 a.m. Moscow time. The car Mitsubishi Libero, in which there were three people left on a railway crossing in front of an oncoming freight train.
The driver applied emergency braking, but avoid collision could not due to too short distance before moving. The collision killed the car driver and both people in it as a passenger.
Law enforcement officers investigate the details of the incident and establish the identity of the victims. Due to the collision is expected to delay passenger trains No. 72, coming from Severobaikalsk to Ulan-Ude.
