More than 130 million rubles, stolen by the staff of special forces “alpha” and “Vympel” FSB of Russia during the RAID on the Bank “metallurg”, belonged to the Assyrian businessmen who engaged in the exchange of currencies in the market “Moscow” in Lublin. According to interlocutors of the edition, one of the organizers of the assault was a former investigator Konstantin Zharov. In 2016 he was sentenced to eight years in a penal colony for participating in the RAID under the guise of a search with the riot police. In 2018, he managed to leave on freedom ahead of schedule.
In the spring of 2019 Zharov met with “a certain organisation”, whom he met in jail. Karamatov promised accomplices to arrange a visit of businessmen from the market with cash in a million dollars (65.2 million rubles). He assured Vlasova that the money will be of criminal origin, so in case of a robbery, no one in law enforcement will not complain.
The edition writes that all five men who brought the cash to the Bank on the day of the RAID, was an ethnic Assyrian natives of Georgia and Russia. They, including the victim, Alexander Maranov was going to organize the exchange of large sums collected in the market do their senior partners.

In early July a military court in Moscow arrested five employees of the FSB. Two more sent under house arrest.
