Beyond that, the SBR pays reward athletes for their successful performances at international competitions — it takes six million rubles. Ten million spent on salaries of office employees. Also there is a section “contingencies” (for example, the SBR had to spend on lawyers in December, when the camp was raided by the Austrian police).

The Union pays the money because of cases involving violations of doping rules by Russian athletes. So, until October, the organization will have to send the International biathlon Union of 16 million rubles.

On 9 August it was reported that the top Russian biathlete Alexander Loginov has refused to sign a contract with SBR. He is dissatisfied with the proposed terms. It was noted that dissatisfaction was also expressed by Dmitry Malyshko, Evgeny Garanichev and Anton Babikov.
