Russian tourists carried out in an open ocean current, saved the sailors of Sri Lanka. This publication reports the Adaderana.
Two citizens of Russia 28 and 47 years bathing in the sea near Talalla beach at the southern tip of the island of Sri Lanka. The strong current swept them both into the open ocean, after which they began to sink.
They came to the aid of the ship’s rapid reaction forces of the Navy of Sri Lanka, which ensured safety of participants of the festival of the Vishnu temple Devalaya near the beach and the village of Dondra.
The sailors raised the drowning Russians out of the water and took them ashore. Of tourist life is not in danger.
Earlier in August, Sri Lanka made free visas for Russians and citizens of other 48 States for six months to attract tourists.
In April, a major Russian tour operators have temporarily stopped selling tours to Sri Lanka in connection with several terrorist attacks that occurred on the island in day of Catholic Easter.
