The 3rd District military court refused to consider the criminal case against billionaire Dmitry Mikhalchenko and the other defendants accused of stealing 1.5 billion rubles on the construction of the House of receptions at the residence of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in Novo-Ogaryovo. According to him, the court made a decision on returning the criminal case to the Prosecutor General of Russia in connection with the admitted violations of the law when drafting the indictment.
The case involves, in addition to Mikhalchenko, officers of the Federal security service Igor Vasiliev and Dmitry Ulitin, the former head of the FSO FGUP “ATEKS” Andrew Fireplaces, businessmen Sergey Litvinov, Boris Maltsev. Maltsev pointed out that the funds were stolen by overcharging for the work and materials, “Baltstroy” received kickbacks from subcontractors in the amount of up to half of the contract amount.
