The head of the Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, has posted a video on the preparation of the robot Fedora for flight on the ISS. The video he posted to his Twitter.
Documentary footage accompanied by the song “Above Ground flying ship” by Rogozin. The video demonstrates the steps to create an Android and test loading in the crew compartment of the ship, which will send a robot to the ISS on August 22.
1 Aug Rogozin showed Fedor Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, the device will completely replicate the movements of an astronaut on the station. “In the future we expect that this machine will provide for us, and the conquest of outer space”, — said the head of the Corporation. Work over Fedor was carried out in 2012, he said.
Robot Fedor (FEDOR — Final Experimental Demonstration Object Research) is created, “Android technology” and Fund advanced research in behalf of the EMERCOM of Russia. To build the robot it took 300 million rubles. He recently changed his name, now his name is Skybot F-850.
