Former President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev was indicted on two criminal cases. It is reported 24.kg.
According to the lawyer Sergei Slesareva, the new charges relate to criminal cases on the modernization of the Bishkek TPP and to acquire ownership of the building that housed the office of the former President.
As noted by the lawyer, the basis of the new cases formed the conclusions in the conclusion of the parliamentary Commission, which by a majority of votes approved the deputies of the Kyrgyz Parliament.
Earlier it was reported that European Union charged with the murder and other heinous crimes. Also the former head of state accused of organizing mass riots, hostage-taking and violence against a representative of authorities. He faces life imprisonment.
August 7, Kyrgyz special forces tried to detain Atambayev at his home in the village of Koi-Tash near Bishkek. Supporters of the former President gave battle to the security forces. In clashes injured 136 people, 14 are in hospital, one commando was killed.
