Expert centre of the Russian consumers Union “Roskontrol” conducted a study of chicken kebab. It was attended by seven of the samples under the Selgros brands, “agribusiness”, “Pelinka”, “D”, “Carousel”, “Troekurovo” and “OK”.
Experts studied a kebab more than 60 parameters, including the compliance to the required marking, the mass fraction of component parts, the presence of Salmonella, Listeria, antibiotics and preservatives. The samples were purchased in regular stores and not selected from the warehouses.
In the samples under the brands Selgros, “D” and “Carousel” was discovered Listeria are gram — positive rod-shaped bacteria, pathogens of animals and humans. In the kebab from “D” also revealed Salmonella.
In addition, in all samples, except “Petelinka” and “Miratorg”, recorded elevated levels of contamination by mesophilic microflora, which can lead to stomach problems.
At the barbecue, “Petelinka” has been 97 percent lean and only three percent of the marinade, the sample “D” is 70 percent lean and 30 percent of the marinade, which affected its low price.
The samples are “OK” and Selgros had unusual high-quality product smell and extraneous taste.
The study samples under the brands of “agribusiness” and “Petelinka” is recognized as a safe and recommended for purchase. The rest is placed in the black list “Roskontrol”.
