In the Kremlin consider that the requirements of the Ministry of education that toughen control over the contacts of Russian scientists with foreign colleagues, “looks like a bust”. This “jellyfish” said the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov said that the Kremlin had not yet seen the order. He said that it is necessary to show “particular vigilance” because “intelligence agencies are not asleep”, but it is not necessary to set such rules.
“Let’s just say, the scientific-industrial espionage has not been canceled. 24 hours a day, seven days a week it is aimed against our scientists, especially young scientists. But this does not mean that we should bind ourselves to some rules that are no good in the end will not lead,” he said.
Earlier Wednesday, the Ministry of science and higher education has prepared the order about toughening of rules of contact of Russian scientists with foreign and international organizations.
