Savelovsky court of Moscow has pronounced a sentence on the case of Mary Androsova — senior investigator Butyrsky Interdistrict investigative Department of the capital’s Central Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR). According to the prosecution, she and her lawyer tried to extort $ 10 million from the defendant. On Sunday, August 18, the lawyer of Androsova Tatiana Prilipko told TASS.
According to Prilipko, the court has appointed the defendant punishment in the form of 8,5 years of imprisonment. The lawyer noted that the verdict has already appealed the Moscow city court will consider the complaint on August 21.
August 7, 2018, the press service of the Metropolitan Prosecutor reported that the case of 30-year-old Maria Androsova transferred in Savelovsky court. Another defendant in the case was a 56-year-old lawyer, Yuri Podkatalogi.
They were charged under part 6 of article 290 of the criminal code (“Receiving bribe”). According to police, the investigator, Androsova was in production the criminal case against the businessman, Saifullo Pulatov, accused in a large fraud and falsification of the unified state register of legal entities.
According to investigators, Androsova demanded from the defendant 10 million rubles for assisting in the election of house arrest, and after the transfer of all sum of a bribe for the termination of criminal prosecution. The investigator tried to conceal extortion and attracted an attorney with whom Pulatov concluded a fictitious contract.
The bribe itself was veiled under a reward. The lawyer, helping the investigator, convinced Pulatova that in case of failure to pay, he was arrested and sent to jail. The transfer of the second part of a bribe the lawyer was detained and placed under house arrest, and Androsova sent to jail. The businessman Pulatov later received 3.5 years in prison.
