Putin spoke about the cautious optimism after talks with Zelensky

Conversations with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky inspire cautious optimism. This was stated by Russian leader Vladimir Putin during a meeting with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, reports RIA Novosti.

In addition, the Russian President said that he will inform the Rules of a conversation with Zelensky. The French President, in turn, noted that he will discuss with his Russian counterpart the situation in Ukraine. He also added that it may be prepared by the summit “channel four” (Russia, France, Germany and Ukraine).

Regular telephone conversations between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine took place in early August. According to Zelensky, in the conversation it was about the death of four on the eve of the Ukrainian military in the Donbass. He said to his Russian counterpart that the incident brings the country to the world. Also, according to him, questions were raised as to return the Ukrainian detainees.

The Kremlin said that Putin said Zelensky about the need to prevent attacks on Ukrainian troops settlements in the Donbass.
