Rosstat called regions, whose residents spend the most money to buy food. Such was the Republic of Ingushetia and Dagestan, reports RIA Novosti.
According to the statistics service, in 2018 to food and non-alcoholic beverages from the residents of Ingushetia took 57.9 percent of revenues, Dagestan — 53.8 per cent. Also a lot of money on food spending, the inhabitants of Chukotka — where the figure was 47.7 percent.
Less on food last year spent residents of Tatarstan, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous area — Yugra and Moscow is 21.8, 23.1 and 24.5% of revenues, respectively. The average value in Russia amounted to 30 percent.
According to experts, the costs involved depends on three factors: food costs, low wages, and family structure. In addition, the difference in the data and affected the national mentality.
Earlier it was reported that real salaries rose in July by 3.5 percent. According to Rosstat, the average monthly accrued wages of workers in July amounted to 45.9 thousand, or 8.2% more than in 2018.
