Yuri Butusova: Wikipedia
The Ukrainian authorities should declare war on Russia. About this in his blog for the portal “Observer” wrote Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov.
According to him, the current authorities do not intend. “On the contrary, all saying, “Peace, peace, peace.” But we see that the efforts to achieve it is ineffective”, — stated in the material. First of all, according to the journalist, Kyiv must break with Moscow all relationships.
Butusov added that somehow the breakup right now Kiev threatens paralysis. “The government should be designed to at any time be ready to respond to Russian aggression, perhaps, to declare war,” he said.
On 24 July, after the early parliamentary elections in Ukraine, analysts of the Agency Moody’s assessed the chances of Kiev closer to Moscow. Experts called the positive moment of the victory of the party of President Vladimir Zelensky “servant of the people,” stressing the readiness of his team to carry out reforms and strengthen its relations with the West, but the normalization of relations with Russia is unlikely, as the position of the Ukrainian side will be defensive and non-confrontational, but the risk factor remains the conflict in the South-East of the country.
Relations between Russia and Ukraine escalated in 2014 after the change of power in Kiev. The Ukrainian side believes that Moscow is responsible for the armed conflict in the South-East of the country, as well as for the referendum in the Crimea, after which the Peninsula became part of Russia. The Kremlin denies all charges. Against the background of deteriorating relations officials or public figures not just thought about to declare war on Moscow. For example, in December 2018, the Deputy Vitaliy kupriy even presented the Verkhovna Rada with an appeal to who was at that time the presidency Petro Poroshenko.
