The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on his page in Facebook has accused President Vladimir Zelensky in the publication of the post with an ignorant statement on the topic of international relations. Previously, he spoke about the revival of the G8 format with Russia.
According to her, the statement by the Ukrainian leader — not that other, as “a meaningless jumble of letters”. Arguing this opinion, Zakharova pointed out the wrong use of the terms “diplomacy” and “agenda” that distorts the meaning.
She also drew attention to the fact that the words Zelenskaya of Russia’s readiness “to resume its place in the agenda of high diplomacy” is not only illiterate worded, but not untrue, as the Russian delegation did not cease its work in the UN security Council — the highest platform of international relations.
In this regard, the diplomat stressed that the Ukrainian side must fulfill the security Council supported the Minsk agreement and to progress in the peaceful settlement of the necessary steps Zelensky, not Russia.
Zakharov concluded his post with a sarcastic offer to advise the Ukrainian President as long as the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine will be staffed with qualified diplomatic personnel.
Earlier on 22 August it was reported that Zelensky has called the conditions of the restoration of the “Big eight” with participation of Russia: the return to Ukraine of the Crimea, ending the war in the Donbass and the liberation of more than a hundred Ukrainian citizens convicted on the territory of Russia.
Call Russia at the G8 summit next year, has offered the President of France Emmanuel macron. Agreed the us leader Donald trump, who said that it would be appropriate to see Russia as part of the “Big eight”, as many things that are discussed in the G7, touch it.
The G8 has ceased to exist in 2014 after joining the Crimea to Russia. Then the leaders of major world powers has refused to participate in the summit that Russia, as chair, was held in Sochi. Instead, in Brussels, a meeting of “seven” — G7 (France, UK, USA, Germany, Japan, Italy and Canada. The summit is also attended by the presidents of the EU Council and the European Commission).
