The security service of Ukraine (SBU) over the past five years are unable to purify themselves from the “agents of the Kremlin”. Such opinion in interview to the edition “Gordon” was expressed by the former Deputy head of SBU the General-the major Alexander Radetsky.
According to him, the “Russian agents” are still present in the ranks of the SBU. However, he found it difficult to name them, noting that the quantitative measure does not play a key role. “Only one agent of the Kremlin, but to top positions in the state — and everything, it will harm much more than tens or hundreds of agents,” said Radetsky.
He noted that today high positions in the SBU is the people who was appointed under President Viktor Yanukovych, and they, in particular, responsible for military arsenals in the Ukraine.
The presence of “agents of the Kremlin,” he said in 2017, the then Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko. According to him, in the first place these include people who have with Russia business, the common property or a common past.
Relations between Russia and Ukraine escalated in 2014 after the change of power in Kiev. The Ukrainian side believes that Moscow is responsible for the armed conflict in the South-East of the country, as well as for the referendum in the Crimea, after which the Peninsula became part of Russia. The Kremlin denies all charges.
