Young people have a right to protests, sometimes this leads to positive as shaking power. This opinion was expressed by President of Russia Vladimir Putin during the international economic forum, RIA Novosti reported on Thursday, September 5.
“People have a right to Express their point of view,” he said.
The head of state pointed to the need to act within current legislation.
19 August, the Russian leader made his first comment on mass protests in the capital, including unauthorized, which take place from the end of July because of the election campaign to the Moscow city Duma. The President said that citizens have the right to peaceful protests, but nobody can break the law and bring the situation before the collision.
The capital’s electoral Commission refused to register several opposition candidates due to various violations during the collection of signatures, in particular, some indicated in the documents the names of already deceased persons.
