The court in the Republic of Kosovo has recognized five men and one woman guilty of planning attacks on NATO troops and civilians in Kosovo, Belgium and France. About it reports Reuters.
The source told reporters that all the criminals arrested in the past year. They received prison terms of length from one year to 10 years.
All of them were supporters of the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia), many of them had contact with its fighters who are in Syria and Iraq. One convict is a citizen of Belgium.
“These six people were preparing terrorist attacks both inside and outside Kosovo: attacks on night clubs in gračanica, the Orthodox Church in North Mitrovica and attacks on NATO soldiers in Kosovo and other terrorist attacks in Belgium and France”, — quotes Agency the statement of the court.
Both of the aforementioned region of the Republic of Kosovo inhabited by minority Serbs.
According to Reuters, inside Kosovo had not happened Islamist terrorist attacks, but in 2012 more than 300 of its citizens had gone to Syria to fight on the side of the terrorists. About 70 Kosovo militants were killed and more than 100 eventually received sentences and prison terms.
