The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the allocation of 26.1 million rubles for the purchase, importation and distribution of more than 11 thousand packages of psychotropic drugs for children with chronic diseases. On Friday, September 6, reports “Interfax”.
According to the document, money will be allocated from reserve Fund of the government. The Ministry will direct them to recover the costs “Moscow endocrine plant”, which should make “the purchase, importation and delivery of unregistered in the Russian Federation psychotropic medications for children in the prescribed manner”. Also the Agency mandated to monitor the purposeful and effective use of allocated funds.
In the text of the order it is noted that it is planned to purchase 11.2 thousand packages of drugs.
5 September, Medvedev said that he signed the Directive will allow “Moscow endocrine plant” promptly procure and deliver to Russia diazepam, phenobarbital, midazolam 10 dosage forms and clobazam (the”Tritium”). The Prime Minister said that the government before the end of 2023, plans to start production of the necessary forms of medicine for children with pain and convulsive syndrome.
Law-enforcement authorities repeatedly detained Russians who bought unregistered in Russia psychotropic drugs required for seriously ill children. Most often, they needed “Frisium”. For example, such cases occurred with two residents of Moscow, they were detained when they took the drugs with email. The first case was closed after verification of the prosecution, in the second case, the police refused to open a case.
