The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov invited the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to come to the Peninsula. He said this on air of the program “Serious talk”, the record of which is published on his page in Facebook.
Aksenov reminded that Zelensky has an apartment in Yalta. “Come and see what’s going on, ask people questions and ask if they want back to Ukraine. Hear the answer and do as they want Crimeans”, — said the head of the Republic. He called on all Ukrainian officials to accept the Crimean people’s choice and admit that the Peninsula — part of Russia.
Aksenov said that the decision on the official invitation Zelensky in the Crimea will be taken by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia.
The head of the Republic noted that Zelensky is in the image of the character from the TV series “servant of the people” Basil Goloborodko and “not yet realized where he was”. He urged the Ukrainian President to get out of this image and to resolve issues relating to ordinary people.
Crimea became part of Russia following a referendum held in March 2014. Ukraine and several other countries accuse Russia of the seizure of territories, Moscow all charges in the address rejects.
