Drunk raccoons roam in Canada

Residents of the canadian province of Ontario are faced with the invasion of drunken raccoons. This TV channel CBS News said a local resident Emily Rodgers (Emily Rodgers).

According to her, one of the raccoons, barely moving, went into the yard of her house. Rogers referred to the Service for the protection of animals, and the animal was taken to the examination. Later it was learned that other residents also saw animals in this state.

Biologists from Carleton University said that the raccoons probably ate fermented fruit in the heat. Experts asked Ontarians not to try them sober and ask for help to the animal protection service or to the vet.

In 2018, it was reported that in the American city of Milton, West Virginia arrested a drunk raccoon that scared the townspeople. Police went looking for the animal after appeals of concerned residents who noticed his strange behavior and feared that it caused by rabies. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the raccoon ate fermented apples and get drunk.
